'Michelle and Tia' graphite pencil on paper at 25 x 25 cm
This was a very special portrait of a girl with her beloved black labrador cross. They were inseparable for years until the girl's passing. I felt so honoured to be commissioned to create this for her aunt whi is still looking after her dog.

I put a number of photographs together to create an image my client wanted.

What a great day it was at the 'Varnishing Day' yesterday at the Royal Hibernian Academy in Dublin. The 196th RHA Annual Exhibition is now open and my drawing 'Patrick' is being exhibited as part of the exhibit.
My work is in the Ashford Gallery on the ground floor of the gallery space together with many other outstanding pencil drawings and prints. It is an honour to be part of it.
It is open until the 9th August...

An anniversary gift I painted for the bride-to-be in the photo. Her partner commissioned it from me earlier this year. It is painted on a small canvas at 20 x 20 cm in size. I had one photo to work from which I adjusted removing a few objects to create a simple composition. My aim was to capture the moment of surprise.

Bring on the sunshine...these two best friends are certainly enjoying the sun through the window in their home in Cork.

I painted Pammy and Purdy, the gorgeous long-haired cats, back in January. The portrait was commissioned as a keepsake memory by their owner Liam.

It is 25 x 35 cm in size painted in acrylic on stretched canvas.

My client asked me to paintnthis image as a wedding gift for the couple. They got married in January in New Zealand where they live.

The painting is in acrylics on stretched canvas in the size of 30 x 30 cm.

I had some very exciting new about one of my pencil drawings which got accepted to the annual exhibition at the Royal Hibernian Academy in Dublin this year.
The drawing is a pencil portrait of Patrick, a man in contemplation. I drew this last year with graphite pencil on paper. The drawing is 30 x 30 cm in size.

Indy is looking very relaxed in my last whippet portrait. His dog portrait was commissioned as a gift for one of his owners in Dublin. It is her favourite image of her beloved dog and I had to paint it!
I painted it with acrylics on fine canvas at a small 20 x 20 cm. I enjoyed every minute...
