Another week starts in Lanzarote ☀️🙌
I will be in Rory's Live Lounge tonight again at 9.30pm 🎶... that's Monday Tuesday Wednesday Friday Saturdays as always !

All the World Cup are being shown next door in Rory's Corner Cafe Bar of course! ⚽️

But on friday I will be starting earlier at 9pm and playing a shorter set to finish up at 11pm so we can pull down the big screen to watch the next Scotland match 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽️🥳 Thank you to everyone who called in at 2am on Saturday we had a great atmosphere!

I see Donegal got Dublin in the All Ireland 🇮🇪 👀 Hohoo! Really looking forward to that and praying its being televised 🙏 We will have it in the Irish Viking Lanza one way or another this weekend 😅📻 Not being biased but I think because its a pure knockout game this is where we start playing real football 😜 sorry Dublin friends and family 🙏

Anyway... enough winding up... see you in Lanzarote tonight if you are about ? 🎶🙌☀️

Highland Radio Lanzarote! 😅🔥☀️

This Saturday afternoon in the Irish Viking Lanza we will be going old school again and pumping "Donegal v Cork" through our PA system via Highland Radio 📻 😀

As you know the game is not being televised but we have done this a few times before and it's been great craic !

Highland have always been very kind to me and this picture with the lovely Roisìn from the station was taken 6 weeks ago when I was back home in Donegal promoting my new Album "9" which they made Album of the week. 💿

Back to TONIGHT first though!
I will see you in Rory's Live Lounge at 9.30pm again 🎶 and friday and Saturday and Monday and Tuesday.....blah blah etc 😅🎵

Thank you, its going to be a crazy weekend with Scotland thrown into the mix too 😜⚽️

Rory's Live Lounge is now open 1 year ! 🥳

Just to give a huge show of appreciation to Alex ❤️🙌
Alex from Chile is our secret sauce !

Doing all the secretarial work for The Irish Viking, Rory's Corner Bar & Cafe, + Rory's Live Lounge. The unsung work that makes everything click.
Anyone in business over here in Lanzarote will know about the horrors of paperwork... billing categories... constant invoices... infinite photocopying!... random inspections... percentages... yo-yo tax quarters! ... you wouldn't know where to start 🙈
Thankfully Alex keeps all this in line for us, keeps the sailors above board and the ship legally afloat!

Alex has been in charge of our paperwork since 2022 when we took on Rory's Corner Bar and that was a huge struggle to keep alive as not only was I travelling over and back to gig in it, but my gigs then got stopped for ...well... overcrowded chaos really tbh! 😅 🔥

It's been 4 years of really tough work for her , especially as sometimes she is actually being the calming figure when we were running into all sorts of local problems. Everybody needs an Alex.

On a more personal level too Alex has been our great friend since the early naughties when she was working in the Craic n' Ceol and we became so close as the years went by that she asked us to be Godparents to her son Travis who was born in 2007.
Travis actually did some summer shifts for us in our sister bar the Irish Viking Lanza last year... amazing how things can come full circle! 😌

Alex is usually the one with her head in her hands when myself and Cara come in from a long walk and say : "Hey! We think we have found another great property, can you ask the bank for another loan extention!? , oh and the pump is faulty in toilet 3 ....and also we are switching our network provider ...and we need to start serving pizza in both bars... can you sort that out by 4pm?!"

I think we have made her cry at least 6 times if I'm being honest ! 😅

I think its high time she got shown a bit of love ❤️

🥳 Lanzarote! Cara is World Cup ready 😅🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽️ A few people were wondering if we are showing the opening Scotland game... which is at 2am on Saturday 13th !?👀 Well YES 😅🍻

We will put it on the big screen after my gig that Saturday night in The Live Lounge.
As you might know my wife Cara is Scottish and I had a really nice 4 years living in Scotland and have always had family connection there so will be cheering them on big time!
We are showing EVERY World Cup match in the corner bar ... and in our sister bar "The Irish Viking Lanza " aswell . *

Hi Folks! I have decided not to enter The Ironman this year... I don't like swimming fast, cycling long distances or running in 33 degree heat
...also due to my weekly intake of Guinness and Jagermeister I might die after 5k ! 😅

So INSTEAD : you can catch me singing in Rory's Live Lounge Friday, Saturday, Monday, Tuesday , Wednesdays @ 9.30pm 🎶😉

Here we go again Lanzarote 😊 I'm in Rory's Live Lounge tonight again at 9.30pm Friday, Saturday, Mon, Tues, Wednesday! 🎶

Cara is wondering have you tried the homemade food in the cafe if Rory's Corner Bar yet? The scones are flying 😅 That's open everyday now .

I had a busy weekend between my own nighttime gigs in the Lounge and The lovely Sherlock wedding in Ocean Lava, and also it was a pleasure to sing at the 25th anniversary of the The Spinnaker Bar & Restaurant, Lanzarote ... 25 years is some going! 👀 Well done to the whole Brown family. 💛🙌

Hello Lanzarote 🌞 I'm here with my friend Max Santalucia who is gigging at 7pm in Rory's Corner Bar now every Monday and Tuesday 🎶

Unfortunately Max ( Massimo) has not got his missing gear back yet 😕 He had all his equipment, including his precious Saxophone , stolen last week ...if anyone has been offered a Saxophone on the black market please inform us ! 🙏
However, a really positive guy and not one to have his spirit easily broken , Max gathered up some old gear and just got on with life and work 👊🎶

So we will see you tonight here in Rory's Live Lounge ! 💛

I'm on after at 9.30pm - Mondays Tuesdays Wednesdays Fridays and Saturdays 🎶🙌

⚠️ Please Help my friend Max Santalucia 🙏

Max was putting his gear in his car, from a little trolley just outside Fariones Hotel around 9:30pm. He walked away for 1 minute and when he returned everything was taken!

* NEW YAMAHA SAXOPHONE
*BOSS RC 50 Loop Station
plus a bag with cables, 2 microphones, harmonicas, Digital delay, Tuner.

If you want to message Max or myself privately with any information please do, if its theft, its not too late to hand everything back, ... it could also have been a prank gone wrong... or someone being overly kind and taking the gear to safety!? , but all Max really wants is his stuff back, if it is done really quickly there will be no big deal made.
I will be in Rory's Live Lounge & Corner bar tonight and tomorrow as always if anyone has any info, OR WANTS TO RETURN IT and run away ! but as we said even a simple message will do , Please help Max, its such a horrible feeling for him 🙏🎶 thank you all
