We had a lovely recital last weekend followed by walking in the Mitchelstown parade yesterday. Thanks to all my dancers who braved the unpredictable Irish weather! Thanks to all who helped raise funds for Save the Children and Voice Ireland? I have donated €150 to each of those charities on the school's behalf.

Well done to these two young ladies who competed in their first Munster championship last December and who are absolutely flying through their bun and tus grades! They are so dedicated and work incredibly hard. Keep it up, girls!!

Some great results recently: well done to Róisín with top mean grad placements in Ennis a few weeks ago; Aoife for grading out of bun light jig; Ciara and Juliette with top ten placements in tus in Cork; Emily with a 5th place preliminary finish; Aisling with 8th place finish in preliminary; Isabella with a fifth place finish in preliminary. With classes back in session since 9 September, I just wanted to highlight some achievements for SRTC:
☘️ St. Patrick's Day parade in Mitchelstown with another trophy for one of the best displays
☘️ A lovely recital in April that raised nearly €400 and was split between Save the Children's Crisis Fund and Voice Ireland
☘️ Brilliant Mini Munster performances with some excellent results, including 2nd place in bun reel for Mia and 3rd place in premier comortas for Emily.

Best of luck to the girls competing in preliminary championships this weekend!

Fabulous results yesterday for our crew in Cahir! Special congratulations go to Emma on her first feis with a placement in her reel, Aoife for grading out of bun single jig, and Meadhbh for grading out of primary slip jig and mean heavy jig! It's brilliant to see the dancers rewarded for their hard work but even better to see how much they support each other.

These girls did brilliantly today in preliminary and open championships!

We had brilliant results over the weekend at the Mini Munsters. I'm so proud of all of my dancers, most of whom were competing for the first time: our super minis, Mollie and Naoise, Alannah Mae and Mary Ellen; our midis Aoibheann, Ava, Emma, Kaitlin and Sibéal; our older girls Aoife, Caoimhe, Emily, Hannah, Katie and Sadbh; and our older and wiser crew Áine, Aisling, Emily, Isabella, Meadhbh and Róisín.
Special congrats to Aoife on her 10th and 11th place finishes in massive groups for the bun reel and single jig; to Hannah for 6th place in bun reel; to Sadbh on her 7th place in the bun single jig.
All the older ladies came home with trophies and cups. Highlights include 2nd place in light jig and 6th in primary reel for Róisín; 3rd in primary hornpipe and 1st in mean trad set for Meadhbh; 1st in mean trad set and 7th in priomh comortas for Aisling; 2nd in mean slip jig and 6th in priomh comortas for Emily; 3rd in mean slip jig and trad set for Isabella; and 4th in primary reel and 5th in priomh comortas for Áine.

A fabulous group represented SRTC at the Mitchelstown parade today. Happy St. Patrick's Day!!
