This is wonderful news for Kerry and Ireland. They are truly magnificent creatures and how much would you love to hold that bird. It might be a chick - but it's HUGE!

Celia and I headed to Cork, Ringaskiddy to be precise, for the Seafest on Saturday and what a great day it was. Loads of exhibitors and lots to see and do. We had a stand there so thanks to all who popped over to say 'hello' - it was a pleasure to meet you and hopefully we'll see you again. Keep you're eyes peeled for next years event - it's not to be missed.

Well it's almost a week since the Ring of Kerry cycle and congratulations to all that took part - it was a mammoth undertaking. BUT .... I'd just like to say that whilst there were 11000 + people doing it, Joe and I were on our bikes too. We might not have managed 170 or so kilometres but we did the ring around Roughty and Sheen. Joe and I enjoyed a very relaxing cycle to plan our bike tour route. Will be coming before the season ends ready for full steam ahead next year. Wonder how much you know about Kenmare?
