Kells Theatre is a state of the art theatre located in the heart of Kells Town Centre. Hosting a variety of pantomimes, plays and musicals from the long tenured Kells Musical and Dramatic Society 1976, as well as many travelling production companies and local drama groups. The theatre hosts Bingo every Friday night at 8:30pm.

It's showtime!!! Kells Theatre School is set to take to the stage this Saturday night May 23rd at 7pm. in Old Eureka School Hall, Navan Road, with our end-of-year gala production, featuring more than 60 children and teenagers in a variety showcase of musical theatre, drama and live performance.
The second half of the show is 'The Little Mermaid' mini musical alongside comedy sketches, poems, pop medleys and solo performances, all taking place.
A big night of local talent as another year of work and rehearsals comes to a close with the presentation of certificates to all the students. All very welcome. KELLS THEATRE SCHOOL End of year production 2026
Kells theatre school’s 25th end of year annual production takes place on Saturday 243d May at 7pm in Old Eureka School Hall Navan Rd and it is filled with over 60 talented children and teens eager to show off their acting, dancing and singing skills. The students have been very busy since last October honing in their skills which will culminate in this wonderful show filled with great dance medley routines, solo and duet singing, comedy sketches, funny poems and for Act 2 staging a mini musical ‘THE LITTLE MERMAID’. At the finale, the students will be presented with their certificates of completion. The students also have written stories and poems for their booklet and will receive a copy of everyone’s great work of imagination. The weekly workshops are held every Wednesday from 4pm to 6.16pm under the guidance of Acting tutor John Grant with his great team of – Singing tutor Kathleen Mc Govern. Choreographer Helena Sheridan and Creative writing Tutor Gaye Grant along with assistants, Brian O Neill, Seamus Ennis, Emer Gogarty, Linda Grant. Ruby Sheridan and Ben Devine. With special helpers, Clodagh Farrelly and Juliet McWeeney. All working hard to ensure that the show runs smoothly. The Theatre School invite everyone to come along and support the great work of enhancing children and teens with confidence building, nurturing their natural talent for acting, sing, dancing and creative writing while having fun and enjoying themselves.

On behalf of Kells Musical and Dramatic Society'76, I would like to pay tribute and thank most sincerely- the fantastic and talented cast, backstage crew, front of house and the production team of our 49th Panto 'Pinocchio' and to all the great audiences who attended, you were amazing. Special thanks to our Major sponsors, advertisers and Patrons who give so generously to us helping us to keep the show on the road. Thanks to all the groups and followers who shared our photos and posts. Special thanks to Hugh Morris and Caroline Reilly for the use of Eureka Hall and to Gerry Williamson for the use of Iona hall for rehearsal. There were over 100 people involved in the show and it was a privilege to to write and direct and work with all these talented Children, Teens and adults. They are a credit to Kells and the whole community, to them I say a big congratulations and well done. Thanks to all the great people who helped with the hard move from V De P Hall to Eureka House. Thank you all and here's to our next production!!!

Cormac Corr. You are an amazing man to take the time and interest to go to the Dail and the office of the President and get this beautiful letter of recognition from her office for all the volunteering work we do for the community after 50 years. Thank you once again, you are a true friend, a gentleman and a wonderful supporter who has the best interest of Kells at heart.
