🌞ANNOUNCEMENT🌞

After a successful first try for culture night, I’m delighted to let you know that I will facilitate a new “Song for all” in November. Thanks to we even got a mention in The Southern Star ( slip left if you wanna read the article)

📌Where ? .formdancestudio, Marino street, Bantry

📌Time ? SATURDAY, 29TH of November, 2PM to 3.30PM

📌No Booking necessary but you can get in touch for more info

🎶What is a “ Song for all” ?🎶

It’s a space open to anyone wanting to sing with others and explore collective vocal improvisation .

🌀For Who ?

Everyone ! You don’t need to have any previous singing experience.

🌀What ?

Vocal and corporal improvisation( body percussion, beatbox, a ca****la singing, circle songs). Our body and our voice will be our tools. We won’t use words or lyrics, only melodies and rhythms that we’ll co-create.

🌀The goal ?

To have fun ! Connect ! Celebrate all the sounds the human body can make and fall in love with our weirdness.

🌀 How much ?

Donation based ( to cover the cost of renting the space.) Give what you can/want, a smile is enough :)

🌿Come for some musical fun and vocal experiment !

🌜❄️Nollaig na mban shona daoibh !❄️🌛

Today, I jumped into the sea just before a wild snowy spell. Beyond the joy to say hi to the seals, I did it as part of Nollaig na mBan fundraising Cold Swim for Women’s Aid.
The funds raised will support women and children victims-survivors of domestic violence and abuse.

I thought I would make the above illustration available to download to support their campaign.

It’s always a bit scary to print a new design without knowing how it’s going to sale. And on this one I have some time pressure ( 2025 o 2026 depending on the fashion of your organization style...)

I’ve been inspired by the whispers of an hawthorn tree and the deep hope the change of seasons always brings me ( nothing is stuck forever !)

Une aubépine m’a chuchoté ce dessin à l’oreille : Cueillette, musique, chapeaux de paille… tous les détail sont inspirés par des coutumes et de vieilles histoires qui se racontent en Irlande, complétées par mes divagations du soir…

🌞🌻Good Afternoon under the May sun folks ! 🌞🌻

I’m very excited to announce that one of my illustrations has been longlisted for the world illustration awards 2023 organised by the AOI, in the category “ Children’s publishing”.

The AOI is an organisation based in the UK that provides contract and business support to illustrators. I feel very privilege for them to have noticed my work ! ( At this moment my ego is dancing in a boiler suit and rainbow socks🌈✨…)

Afternoon dear humans,

I won't be able to take any orders after Wednesday, 14/12/22, 8 PM ( basically... Tomorrow).
I'm going to France for a week but my shop is staying behind in Ireland...

✨🪶Evening, Evening folks ! 🪶✨

Here the last of the A4 giclée prints serie.

One for the dance, one for the songs…
Singing and dancing or two places that bring me roaring joy… they help me go beyond the words that can feel sometimes so clumsy and heavy on my tongue. I can growl, swirl, hoot, let go, let in, meet, weave with others, be part of something bigger than me.

I hope they will bring some joyful boogie to your eyes and bodies 🙃

(Just throwing it there… they can be GREAT gifts. For you know, the celebration that’s coming. Say it Claire. FOR CHRISTMAS. Hurrah. Queen of marketing here you go 🎁🤶🎄 )
