Ink & Imagination A trio of indie authors, bringing you more than your average book ball. 'Ink and Imagination' was originally conceived as a book signing.

We, as indie authors in underserved areas, wanted to offer signings in places that usually didn't get big book events. When we found Llanfyllin Workhouse in mid-Wales, we knew we needed to bring more than your average book ball. The site offers camping, a mini amphitheater, a fire pit perfect for storytelling and a whole lot of history so we decided to make full use of the space and turn it into an all inclusive festival weekend.

Today you have a chance or winning a copy of our anthology written for the Cymru Chronicles: our literary fantasy festival comes to Wales August 2027.

This anthology will include stories from 15 of our authors. The stories are set in the world we created for The Cymru Chronicles. Of course it’s going to have a gorgeous cover, custom end pages and a map.

The winner of this can pick it up at the festival and have it signed by all the anthology authors for a beautiful keepsake.

Meet Ryan from Ryan Wood : A woodcarving artist who will be hosting multiple workshops over Friday and Saturday at The Cymru Chronicles.

Ryan is based in Yorkshire and specialises in folky carvings centred around mythology, folklore and fantasy.

They run beginner-friendly workshops teaching whittling and woodcarving around the UK, including projects such as the Green Man, Hobbits, wizards, witches, barn owls, and so much more.

Come watch Ryan create art and/or learn from them yourself at one of their workshops they’re hosting at The Cymru Chronicles: A literary fantasy festival.

Yes this crest will be available on merchandise at The Cymru Chronicles our literary fantasy festival coming to Powys, Wales August 20-22nd 2027.

All of our guild crests are created by the ever so talented

There are four guilds. You’re born into one but once you come of age you can choose. Will you choose the path that beckons to you? Or will you choose none and follow in the footsteps of the mad king?

Take the quiz in our community Discord, then join your guild channel for chats and games and chaos.

Some of the lore:
The four guilds ruled their respective realms, it was a time of peace.

Then the tyrant, Maelor the Unbound, forged magical artefacts to defeat the factions & rule the land as one using a powerful spell.

When Maelor took power, he used The Hollowdrop to still the lake’s voice. Empaths could no longer read hearts or mend wounds.

Years of misery ensued & when the uprising came & Maelor was defeated, The Keepers took the third part of the spell & The Hollowdrop, a ring forged from sacred lake-glass, shielding the wearer from the emotions of others. The Keepers used it to remind the waters how to listen.
