ng areas. The team are responsible for reviving Ireland's popular Fit Up Theatre Festival of the 1930's/40's/50's. Successfully touring contemporary professional theatre to 6 rural villages & towns in North East Galway. Since 2021, audiences have enjoyed quality theatre from Noni Stapleton, Seamus O Rourke, Pat Kinevane, Margaret McCauley, Hubcap Theatre, Niamh McGrath, Irene Kelleher...........

The Three Rings came together in 2016 to curate a platform for amateur theatre, written & spoken word, visual art & exhibitions, short films & of course music throughout April as part of the Tuam's Three Rings Festival during the years 2016. The team have presented several arts, cultural and heritage events at Ballyglunin Station. They have collaborated on several projects to date with local artists and community groups such as: members of the Dun Ui Mhaoliosa Barracks Galway; Connacht Rangers Association; Tuam Branch of the Irish Wheelchair Association; Youth Work Ireland Tuam; Local Tuam Secondary Schools; Padraig Stephens; Leo Moran; Seamus Rutledge; Darragh O Dea; An Criu; FUSE; Abbey Acts; Milltown Drama Society; DADS; Bualadh Bos Oranmore; Athenry Music School;

Galway Fit-Up Theatre's presents HubCap Comedy Theatre's brand new comedy ‘Mary’s Hopes and Dreams’ for ONE NIGHT ONLY - Sun 25th Jan in Abbeyknockmoy Community Centre

Using Hubcap’s unique brand of visual comedy and characterisation, the audience will delight in madcap moments of slapstick, rap, mime, song, dance, martial arts and swimming!
A delightful comedy about life in a rural community. The story unfolds with a large cast of colourful characters including cattle dealers, tennis players, greyhound trainers., 80’s Pop Stars and the much loved two Mary’s!!

This event is part of the Three Rings Galway Fit Up Theatre Festival 2025 which was funded by the The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon and Galway County Arts Office

Meet Noreen Gilhooly, a long struggling writer working in a local bookshop, living in the shadow of her world-renowned famous poet mother. Complete with crazy customers, an eccentric agent and failed suitors that will have you laughing, cringing and rushing to your local bookshop.

DUE TO UNFORSEEN FAMILY EMERGENCY THE REMAINING PERFORMANCES OF MARYS HOPES AND DREAMS ARE CANCELLED.

We regret having to disappoint our audiences in Kilbegnet; Fohenagh and Abbeyknockmoy. Our team will keep you posted should we reschedule Hubcap Theatre's performance of Marys Hopes and Dreams in the future.

Galway Fit-Up Theatre's opening week presents HubCap Comedy Theatre’s brand new comedy ‘Mary’s Hopes and Dreams’ from Tues 23rd September to Saturday 27th September

After performing The Parish in over 70 venues nationwide, the boys return with Mary’s Hopes & Dreams. Using Hubcap’s unique brand of visual comedy and characterisation, the audience will delight in madcap moments of slapstick, rap, mime, song, dance, martial arts and swimming!
