CPR training in the sports hall with help from st.johns ambulance service and the order of Malta it's free and takes up five minutes of your time to learn a lifelong skill that could save lives so make sure to give it a look! 😊

A big thanks to Brian Moran, Nicola Duffy, Donna Flaherty and Steven Egan of St John's Ambulance and Grainne Glacken of CROI for their time today in promoting GMIT Mayo Campus CPR drive. They will also be around again tomorrow for anybody interested in learning this valuable life skill!

New Year....New Start!

Do you want to sign up to the GMITSU Operation Transformation?

Operation Transformation will launch in GMIT (Official) on 24th January 2017 for a period of 6 weeks!

The leaders will follow an intense workout and meal plan over this period with the primary goal to achieve a healthier lifestyle as well as looking and feeling good.

There will also be incentives given to each of the six leaders over the six week period to keep them on their toes and motivated. They will have GMITSU staff, Nutritionist The Raw Food Coach, Clean Cut Meals & Fitness Instructor Eoin from UBFit Sports International to guide the leaders to achieving their goals throughout the six week.

The Kingfisher Renmore have also offered FREE membership to leaders for the 6 weeks, and also free membership for the year to the person who looses the most weight.

This Christmas GMITSU are having a Shoe Box Appeal collection in aid of COPE Galway.

Any of you who have walked through the streets of Galway recently will have noticed the significant rise in homelessness and people sleeping rough on the streets.

We urge you to join us in making a difference in someone’s life this Christmas.

Every little bit helps – take part today and do your bit to help those less fortunate than you this Christmas!
