ticks, strings, leads, batteries etc) drinks and snacks available, as well as a music and theatre noticeboard, games etc. MUSIC - We've built:
7 large (20 sq m) bright, professionally soundproofed and beautifully ventilated and heated rehearsal studios. Each room also comes wired with CAT 6 data cabling so you can transform your room into a recording studio if you wish.
2 fully equipped Backline rooms are available for Hourly Rehearsals, and include quality PA, drumkit, guitar and bass amps, 3 mics, and digital recording as standard. Price: €12.50 per hour, negotiable for longer sessions.
5 more studios are available for Monthly Rental. Move your own gear in, set up the room any way you like and jam as much as you can handle from 10am till 2am year round. Never book a session again! Residents of the Monthly Studios access the facility via biometric thumbprint security, and all through areas are monitored by CCTV, so your gear is highly secure. Each Monthly Studio is provided with free extra storage for your cases in the common area so you have more floor space to rock out in. Priced at €495 per month or just €12.50 per person per week (10 people sharing per room paid monthly in advance), these studios are great value for those serious about their music or anyone looking for cheap storage for their gear. Get together with another band or two and reduce your weekly rehearsal costs. THEATRE and DANCE - We have a lovely bright Theatre and Dance Studio available for hire with floor to ceiling mirrors which can be covered up if you like. This room is also ideal for large groups such as CHOIRS or ENSEMBLES. STORAGE - Short or Long-term extra storage space is available for props and sets storage, or general Arts-related storage requirements. SCHOOL OF ROCK - Introduction to Rock Band group classes beginning September 2012!! In a fully equipped rehearsal room, students learn the practical basics of Music Theory (Rhythym, Melody, Harmony, Notation) and basic rudiments and chords on each rock band instrument, including guitar and bass, piano/keyboards, drums/percussion and vocals. Over a 10 week term students try rotate around each instrument and decide which they would like to specialise in over time. With a strong emphasis on the merits of group learning and learning by doing, students can choose to continue learning with the band they're in or move to individual lessons later. AT AND AFFORDABLE RATE OF 15 EUROS PER STUDENT, HOUR-LONG GROUP LESSONS ARE LIMITED TO 6 STUDENTS PER SESSION ensuring each student always has an instrument and receives appropriate attention.
