The day Galway Community Circus came to The EYE Cinema 🤹‍♂️🎪🤹‍♀️

Throwback to May 16th when the lovely folks of Galway Community Circus took the EYE Cinema by storm. On that very special Saturday, we had the honour of hosting the premiére screening of their wonderful film 'Circus Is for Everybody' which captures the journey through workshops, rehearsals and the creation of 'Take Up Space', a joyful circus performance that showcased everything they had achieved together.

It was our pleasure to look after the Galway Community Circus guests and friends including Minister Minister Hildegarde Naughton whose words highlighted the importance of arts, creativity and belonging for young people’s well being, and confidence.

🚴🎸🌱 A film about Mother Nature, Father Time, and brothers on the road.

In 2022, filmmaker and musician Nick Kelly set out to cycle from Ireland to Glastonbury — performing in venues along the way with his friend and fellow musician Seán Millar, who followed the journey by public transport.

The result is 'The Song Cycle': a heartwarming road movie, music documentary, and celebration of friendship, adventure, environmental sustainability and the power of saying yes to impossible ideas.
