Hi Guys.
With the rise in covid 19 cases and in the best interest of public health we think it's best to finish up the santa express for this Christmas season and will be finishing from this morning. Thank you to one and all and we will see everybody hopefully healthy and happy next Christmas.
Have a happy new year also.

Hi Guys. Great News, the Santa Express is back for Christmas 2020 departing from the Square outside the Skeff. A big thank you to Sharon, Brendan and all the team at Galway city council. We really miss our friends in the market but hopefully Christmas 2021 we will be back to normal.
Santa Express will be operating:
Friday's 4pm to 8pm
Saturday's 1pm to 8pm
Sunday's 2pm to 7pm
We also will be running throughout Christmas and the new year including:
21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th ,28th 29th 30th, 31st
And the first week of January.
€5 per person.
Hope to see ye onboard and if not have a happy safe Xmas.

Great News, and a great job you are doing for the city. looking forward to having you on-board this year Mayor McNelis

I am delighted to say that €150k is being allocated by City Council for an iconic festive light and colour experience for Christmas 2018.

I have worked with all business groups in city who submitted a joint submission with Galway City Business Association Galway's Westend. The Latin Quarter Galway, Woodquay Galway, East Village Galway and The Village Salthill.

This will maximise the Christmas experience in Galway and will act as beacon and attraction points accross the city. Well done to everyone in coming together.

Hi Guys, Its that time of year again. Santa will be arriving at the Galway Christmas Market Friday the 17th of November onboard his Santa Express Train. He will be in residence each Friday Saturday and Sunday for the duration of the market and also the week of Christmas(18th-22nd). His train will operate each day of the market.

Hi All
Unfortunately Santa has had to cancel his train ride this evening due to the weather warnings.
His cabin and train will be back in operation tomorrow from 3-7 and 12-7 on Saturday and Sunday.
