🌼 A celebration of our beautiful wildflower meadows! 🌿🏆

Congratulations to our Head Gardener, Maria, who won 1st Prize at the Oughterard Show last Sunday for this beautiful bouquet of wildflowers! 🎉💚

What makes it extra special is that the bouquet was made almost entirely from flowers gathered from the wildflower meadows here at Brigit’s Garden.
So really, this prize is a wonderful celebration of the incredible biodiversity and beauty of our meadows – and all the hard work that goes into nurturing them. 🌸🦋🐝

Well done, Maria – and a big thank you for showing just how much beauty can grow when we give nature space to flourish! 🌿🌼

🦪 A Special Seafood Supper Club at Brigit’s Garden 🌿

Our Supper Clubs at Brigit’s Garden are an ongoing celebration of good food, good company and gathering around the table, but this one is something particularly special.

As part of the Galway International Oyster & Seafood Festival, we’re bringing our supper club tradition to a beautiful communal feast celebrating Connemara’s wild coastlines and rich culinary heritage.

Join us on Sunday 27th September at 6pm for a long-table evening filled with conversation, sharing and seasonal food.

The evening begins with James Harrington from Moycullen Seafood, sharing stories of traditional oyster harvesting in Connemara, followed by a multi-course seasonal dinner created by our chef Aitor Escudero, whose cooking is rooted in the traditions of his native Basque Country and guided by the best of each season.
Expect native oysters, Atlantic seafood, tempting desserts and garden botanicals, served family-style around shared tables, with a welcome drink on arrival.

Bring some friends, come hungry, and settle in for a very special evening of food and community. 🥂
Sunday 27th September | 6pm | €59 per person
Limited places, so early booking is recommended.

🌿 **Step back in time at the Crannóg** 🌿

Nestled amongst the landscape at Brigit’s Garden, our Crannóg offers a glimpse into life in Ireland many centuries ago.

Traditionally built over the water, these traditional dwellings provided shelter and a safe place to live, work and gather.

Take a walk through the gardens and discover this fascinating part of Ireland’s heritage. Children can let their imaginations run wild as they explore, while adults can pause and appreciate the craftsmanship and connection to the landscape.

It’s one of those special places at Brigit’s Garden where nature, history and imagination come together.💚
