Sorry folk's but I'm afraid its time to clear up a certain matter that has been doing the rounds in galway all week.
No I will not be toggin out as full forward for galway tomorrow, Michael asked (begged really) that I Don the maroon Jersey one more time but due to a very long skin tag in a delicate area I have decided not to
The 1984 pair of O'Neils shorts still fit, so long as there's no low balls, high balls, or straight into the hand balls, my wife assured me that the stitching would hold. It wasn't an easy decision to make and the national media's so called footage of me training down merchants road this week was me actually after getting the aforementioned skin tag caught up.... as I stepped off the footpath.
So again sorry folks the loughrea ninja as I was formerly known (cos ya wouldn't even know I was on the pitch) will not be in croker this year but I wish all the lads the very best of luck tomorrow.
And I'll be at home watching it on the telly, togs on, hurl In hand as I'm closing at 2.30.
