Caroline Bradley started out playing folk and blues clubs and gigs in the UK both with her Father, James Bradley in ‘ Stormy Monday’ Blues Band as well as a duo with her sister Katie Bradley, now a renowned Blues Artist.

You can hear Caroline play in concert 📆Saturday 5 September in the for our monthly Concert at the Courthouse.

Caroline will be playing with Lorraine Donnellan as with Maeve Carney as guest.

Caroline plays guitar and sings lead and harmony vocals and has performed in the UK, Berlin and Ireland.

The last 25 years Caroline has lived in Co Galway and has performed a range of music, Jazz, Blues, Soul, Pop, Gypsy, Folk.

The ‘Caroline Bradley band’ performed regularly pre covid in kinvara and can be seen on you tube. Maeve Carney and Caroline have performed songs from many genres and have performed them with acoustic guitar and two voices.

Caroline and Lorraine met in Galway 20 years ago while studying music together and have recently rekindled a musical collaboration called “Willow and Wire’ focusing on harmonies and a ‘no limits’ selection of songs. They have been playing all over County Galway the last couple of years.

KAM and KAVA are delighted to announce a special concert at the KAVA. Kinvara Area Visual Arts Courthouse for Culture Night on Friday 18 September, with the fabulous Small Floor Trio.

The trio comprises of Eanna Ryder (piano), Paul O’ Driscoll, (double bass and vocals) and Andy O’ Farrell (drums). The trio play a range of lesser-known jazz standards, and some original compositions. They are known for their melodic improvisation and a true sense of time and colour. They remain true to the tradition while moving forward with ease.

Culture Night

This is an informal walk-in event from 9pm-11pm - no booking required. You can drop by any time during the evening as you wander the village and enjoy the range of cultural events on offer for Kinvara Art and Culture trail 2026.

The jazz will be preceded by the opening reception of a group art exhibition in the Courthouse Gallery at 7pm; “Three Ways of Seeing”, by Noelle Angley, Josephine Boland and Vanya Savov.

We were treated last night to a wonderful concert in the Courthouse. Rozanne and Siân played beautifully from their repertoire of classical and contemporary music. We hope to have them back again in the Spring.

Rozanne Botha has been playing violin since the age of 5 and started playing piano at age 10. She studied Bmus at the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa and moved to Ireland 7 years ago to work as a violin and orchestral teacher with Coole Music and Arts. She is currently the leader of the Kinvara Community orchestra and the Burren Baroque Ensemble. She met Sian through these ensembles and they collaborate on various projects.

Siân Eustace has been playing music since the age of 4, starting on violin and then taking up the cello at age 7. After playing near constantly for many years, she took rather a long hiatus on moving to Ireland in 1999 but, since joining Kinvara Community Orchestra a few years ago, she hasn't looked back and is making up for lost time by playing music wherever and whenever she can. She and Rozanne play together in a number of different ensembles and enjoy playing and performing a variety of musical styles and genres.

What a fabulous night in the KAVA. Kinvara Area Visual Arts Courthouse last night. With KaRoSal singing three part harmonies on an eclectic collection of songs from a wide range genres. A standing ovation from a full house. These super talented women will go far. Keep an eye out!

KaRoSal are a Galway based 3-part harmony trio who sing both acapella and with guitar accompaniment, covering a mix of bluegrass, gospel, contemporary and folk songs and have a few originals too. Their name is formed from the first letters of their own names Kara Donohoe, Róna O’Riordan and Sarah Toomey. The three met in the Galway Gospel choir in which they sang for many years. They often attended various singers sessions together and later combined to form KaRoSal in 2018.
