A fire burns at the heart of Misleór

It is a place for stories, songs, memory, creativity and connection. A place where nomadic voices are celebrated and heard, and where people come together to learn from one another and imagine new possibilities.

As we look back on Misleór 2025, we're grateful to everyone who helped tend the flame.

Now we begin the road to Misleór 2026.

Thanks to Irish Traveller Movement for coming to Galway this weekend. We had an incredible turn out for the Talent Show at Misleór Youth Day. Over 40 children from across county Galway took part and each received a small goodie bag

Misleór in collaboration with Galway and Roscommon ETB and Galway Traveller Movement are proud to be encouraging young travellers and nomadic peoples to showcase their talents on stage.

They follow in the footsteps of our beloved MC on the day . Many thanks also to Caroline and Colin Stanley who supported PJ Mongan and the women who lead the 'If Hazel Could Talk' project to perform the song they wrote this summer

It was an incredible day of music, stories, Traveller pride and community spirit
