We will be taking a fascinating look at the life and times of Hanna Sheehy Skeffington as we assess the legacy of Ireland’s leading suffragette and arguably, the most important Irish feminist of the 20th Century.There will be a talk and book signing by Dr Margaret Ward, biographer of Hanna, and she will be joined by Hanna’s granddaughter, Micheline Sheehy Skeffington."The Writings of Hanna Sheehy Skeffington"will be on sale on the night.Wine reception to follow the talk. 6.30pm, Friday 23rd February at Charlie Byrne’s Bookshop, Middle Street, Galway.
