Celebrating our wonderful Master of the Road Performance at Churchill Forge Heritage Centre yesterday. It was wonderful to bring the steps of Gerry Munnix back to the forge in which they were crafted. We were delighted that the audience got to explore the forge directly after the show! Big congratulations to the cast and musicians; thank you to the team, particularly Brian Caball, who directed the play and to Jonathan Kelliher and Diarmuid O'Brien for the wonderful demonstration of North Kerry Dance and Music (on the Ahern Coleman Fiddle). And... special thanks to Mum Lorraine O'Connor for the images.

The steps are learned, the music is playing, and our young performers are ready to light up the stage! 🕺🎻 Join us for Master of the Road on September 27th, a play created by Pat Ahern for young people to celebrate the life of the North Kerry dancing master Jeremiah Molyneaux. With special thanks to our host, Churchill Forge Heritage Centre, who are enabling us to return his story to the context in which his dance steps were created - the forge.

We are delighted to announce that Jonathan Kelliher will give a pre-show demonstration of the North Kerry dance, and he will be accompanied by Diarmuid O'Brien playing the Ahern Coleman fiddle. Join us for an unforgettable afternoon at the forge!

Looking forward to another performance of Master of the Road at Churchill Forge Heritage Centre. This setting reconnects the story of Dance Master Gerry Molyneaux to the family forge where he first experimented with the dance. Tickets go live on September 13th! Watch out, as seats are limited.
