We are aware of rumours circulating that we are holding a disco next week, but we are categorically denying we even considered holding one.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Next Disco is Friday 20th December. Sales Date of Wristbands to be confirmed in early December.
Each full Halloween wristband entitles you to purchase one Christmas wristband. Therefore the 500 who attended our Halloween Disco are guaranteed to be offered a Christmas wristband first.
The balance will go on sale after that.

Fermoy Rowing Club wishes to apologise to loyal patrons for the early closure of the disco at 10.40 pm on Friday 31st May. This was necessary to ensure the safety and enjoyment of those in attendance following the deliberate discharge of a smoke canister within the hall, similar to what you see discharged at sporting events. Luckily, no one was hurt. Fermoy Rowing Club takes such incidences very seriously and are liaising with the Gardai to ensure that the perpetrators are held to account. The incident was recorded on CCTV and the tapes will be handed to Gardai to investigate. The club would like to thank all those who attended for the orderly and well behaved way in which they vacated the premises at what had been a very enjoyable evening up to that incident.

Due to Storm Hannah being upgraded to Status Red, we have now choice but to CANCEL tonight’s disco and move it to next SATURDAY night (Bank Holiday Weekend).
The Easter Wristbands will be used.
Damage Wristbands will be replaced Next Thursday 7.30
Extra Wristbands will go on sale next Thursday at 7.30
Full Refunds will also be available next Thursday at 7.30pm, for those who cannot attend.
Apologies to our loyal RC disco goers and your parents / guardians, but your safety is our Number 1 Priority.
Please note: The Easter Disco goes ahead on Saturday 4th - Bank Holiday Weekend.
