Chairmans Christmas Message
🎅As another year draws to a close we hope all our players and supporters have a lovely Christmas☃️. Our coaches are taking a very well deserved break but no doubt planning for the New Year! 🏐💙
We are exceptionally fortunate in Dungarvan Utd with such a dedicated team 💪, we probably have the strongest & most innovative team we have ever had. Our newly appointed football committee will bring a more structured approach throughout the whole club and its exciting to see what 2024 will bring. Every coach gives 100% and its reflected in the great progress we are making. Our academy is thriving 👦👦, our rapidly growing schoolgirl side is something we are immensely proud of👧 💓 , Schoolboys are holding their own. Our ladies team prepare to come back ahead of the new season, achieving the treble last season is one of the clubs finest achievements. Our O35 team are top of their league going into the Christmas break while our premier team are sitting 2nd in the WJL, something we haven't seen for quite some time 👌. Our committee is small but committed to driving the club forward they are on hand morning, noon & night as running a club our size is no easy feat❗Our need to secure a desperately required permanent 2nd pitch is at the forefront of our plans and we hope that is something we see happen in the coming year 🙏🙏.
A huge thank you to everyone involved in any way in helping us achieve our goals, every lotto buyer or seller & especially our sponsors who have been extremely generous this year 🤝 Enjoy the break, enjoy family time & as always we will remember those no longer here with us 💙 .
