We are also delighted to announce one of the highlights of Irish National Opera's 2018 programme, Mozart's comedy masterpiece The Marriage of Figaro, which stars mezzo soprano Tara Erraught as Susanna, Jonathan Lemalu as Figaro and a stellar cast of Irish singers including Máire Flavin, Aoife Miskelly, Suzanne Murphy, Ben McAteer, Amy Ní Fhearraigh and features the Irish Chamber Orchestra. Figaro opens in April 2018 and will be at The Gaiety Theatre Dublin and in the National Opera House Wexford.

As you all know OTC and Wide Open Opera will form Irish National Opera from January and we are thrilled to let you know that the full Irish National Opera programme for 2018 will be announced at the The Big Bang! Inaugural Concert in National Concert Hall, Dublin, Ireland on Tuesday 9th January. This sublime evening will feature a leading roster of Ireland’s top operatic voices singing a wide array of well-loved arias and ensembles conducted by Fergus Sheil with the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra.
