packed year round programme there is plenty to fuel your imagination. With two theatres and a gallery Project Arts Centre offers a huge variety of events at great value and is located close to a host of great restaurants and bars. The gallery presents a series of free exhibitions throughout the year and tickets to performance range from €0-€25.

Programme announcement! Next up on the roster for our annual Open Day on 20 June we have some deadly film screenings lined up. Scroll through for a taster of what's being screened and learn more about the artists at the link below.

Previously screened at this year's Disrupt Disability Arts Festival, Let Go by Louise Bruton returns to Project, a directorial debut! When ex-best friends Orla and Meghan run into each other as adults, revisiting their past reminds us that while being disabled is hard, being a teenage girl is harder.

I Belong by Fatoumata Gandega follows Laliya as she navigates her cultural identity and belonging, reconciling Somali heritage with suburban life in Ireland while facing isolation and misunderstanding.

Our very own Project Artist Jessie Thompson brings back The Floor Is Yours, her short documentary celebrating community, empowerment and the future of women in movement.

Ordinary Distance by Waju James will also be screened, a short film about the gap that opens between friends through the ordinary, invisible weight of life.

From film fanatics to curious passer-bys, our line-up boasts something for all. Take your pick and join us on 20 June 🪩

Presenting our first Disabled Artists Scratch Night! Join us on 25 June for a curated evening of new ideas and works-in-progress showings from a group of disabled artists. Tickets only €10: https://bit.ly/4fazTnl

Following an open call through our partnership with Europe Beyond Access, a curated programme of performances from four disabled artists based in Ireland have been selected for presentation here at Project. Provided with rehearsal space, dramaturgical support, tech and marketing support, these artists are working towards developing their work for The Cube stage this June.

D'Girlos Theatre will present a condensed performance of their award-winning play That's Sooo Povo, and Tierra Porter will be leading a Gather & Sing workshop, blending classical vocal training and gospel-rooted musicality.

Alongside our Curator of Visual Arts, Pola Folwarczny will be leading gallery tours throughout the day in both Polish & English of our latest exhibition Eating the Sun by Liliana Zeic.

And the iconic Sarah-Jane O'Regan's ISL Disco is back! A returning fav from this year's Disrupt Disability Arts Festival.

Join us on 28 May for Miriam O'Callaghan in conversation with Susan McKay, followed by 𝘚𝘢𝘹, (𝘕𝘰) 𝘋𝘳𝘶𝘨𝘴 & 𝘙𝘰𝘤𝘬 𝘕 𝘙𝘰𝘭𝘭, hosted by Nadine O’Regan. Get ready for a deep-dive into the lives of some of Ireland's most iconic figures and public personas.
