FRINGE LAB presents Practice Provocations: A digital workshop with artist @RachaelClerke - 16 May @ 2pm.

This workshop will explore Rachael’s own journey – from making radical performance in and out of traditional performance spaces, to how they navigated expressing the particulars of their innovative practise to how they have learned to ask for what they need. Rachael explores idea-led creation where form is led by content as well as how to involve community in live art practice.

Are you a radical artist discovering the language, ideology and form of your own practice? Are you interested in making non-traditional work existing outside of the spatial and time constraints of venues? Are you looking to find a language to formalise and legitimise your own live art practice? Are you excited by a communality of creation and embedded methods of making formally innovative work with a community? If so, register your interest at fringefest.com/news

Oh my lordy me it’s HUGE!! NEWS!!! Been teasing yiz all week as we finalised details and in fear of jinxing things bc I am so chuffed and excited but filled with anxious anticipation and imposter syndrome and more, but it’s happening, it’s time and I want it to be perfect so I need people to come so I need to like tell them to, so: I am DELIGHTED to announce that my Comedy Panel Show ‘Blá Blá Blá…With Special Guests!’ is back - monthly!! I debuted this show with a run of 5 nights on the Dublin Fringe Festival in 2019 and it was incredible ifIdOsAySoMySeLf🙆‍♀️ We covered a different topic with a different panel of guests each night and it was an experience I will remember for my lifetime. I’m FOREVER grateful to the Fringe and to everyone who had any part in the show from panelists to pals, from production team to proud parents - and I’m now SO lucky and happy to be able to add to that experience and make more memories and grow, with the support of the unbelievably brilliant Hysteria Comedy crew to help me keep up their incredible work of making the Irish comedy scene a hilarious, diverse, clever, interesting, safe, accessible, varied, open, ambitious, driven, nurturing, encouraging, constructive, productive, novel, special q***r and femme-friendly phenomenon for performers and audiences alike. I’m honoured to be bringing the show back, truly I feel (stressed but) blessed, and it all starts 2 weeks from now, on April 24th in Sin É Dublin. The fitting theme of this first show is Irish Women in History - Imean it’s the anniversary of the Rising, be rude not to - a HUGELY interesting topic I am passionate about and I’m already so excited about my guests, and I would love for you to come! Link to get tickets below👇 if you can’t make it this time fear not as it’ll be monthly; if you’re not in Dublin I will be making it available online later and I appreciate any and all support 💖 but I REALLY want to emulate the show’s initial success, make it bigger and better and grow, so for that I need your amazing bums in seats, a wonderful audience of cuties ready to laugh, cry, think, feel, learn and show off for… so yeah please do come ok love you 💃💖🧜‍♀️ Tickets here!! www.eventbrite.ie/e/bla-bla-bla-with-special-guests-tickets-317966866457
