InkBlot Complex presents spoken word artists at their most experimental, and beautiful, lyrically-focused music with a jazzy, hip-hop, neo-soul essence. The night is inspired by the Nuyorican Poets Café in New York City, a legendary Lower East Side venue where many African-African and Puerto Rican spoken word artists elevated the artform to ne

w heights, and where the likes of Saul Williams and Aja Monet launched their careers. Featuring Clara Rose Thornton and Vice & Verses, two international feature acts, and an open mic with the Vice & Verses house band improvising behind poets and comics.
