Introducing our second director for tomorrow’s Spréach Night: Nicholas Sturman!✨

Nicholas Sturman is a Dublin-based Director and Stage Manager. With a Theatre Arts from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, he worked as Company Manager for Glass Mask Theatre for three years, working as a Stage Manager and Assistant Director on shows such as The Monk (Rex Ryan), Little One (Hannah Moscovitch) and A Slow Fire (Simon Stephens). Recently, he has directed a production of Half a Glass of Water (David Ireland) in Smock Alley, as well as an original production, Story of a Scar (Dean Ffrench) in the Wexford Arts Centre.

Introducing the first of our directors for this Saturday’s Spréach Night: Praise Titus!✨

Praise is a multi-disciplinary theatre maker originally from Kerry. While completing her Masters in Architecture she became one of the co-founders of Arinola Theatre. Arinola Theatre focuses on telling the stories of black and brown communities in Ireland. Praise has been featured in Dublin Fringe Festival twice as a director with “OLOLUFE” and “THE DEADLINE PROJECT”. She has recently completed her MA in Collaborative Theatre Making from Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Fungus and Moss welcome you back to a night of theatrical fun and development… Spréach Night 2.0! 🔥💫

Want to see some brand new writing? Looking to support emerging artists? Or simply interested in a fun night with like-minded people? Check out this event x

Spréach night is our version of a scratch night which will promote new writing and emerging artists. We want to match your work with experienced directors who will be allocated time on the night to direct a 10-minute piece of new writing (submitted by you), with volunteer actors 🎭

As a ticket holder, you will also have the option of volunteering yourself as an actor, meaning you will get to (briefly) work with a talented director and bring this new script to life! 🌟

Submissions have closed however the ticket link is live and in our bio (limited number of early birds still available!!) 💫
