For Dublin Gallery Weekend 2026, Green On Red Gallery presents ‘Veil: To cloak, disguise, cover’, a solo exhibition by Irish visual artist Damien Flood

Inspired by Père Lachaise Cemetery, the exhibition looks at the site as a place of contemplation, reflecting into richly layered surfaces that foreground the material presence of paint itself. Each canvas functions as a site of accumulation and excavation, complemented by ceramic sculptures inspired by mournful muses.

Established in 1992 and directed by Jerome O Drisceoil, Green On Red Gallery is one of Ireland’s leading independent commercial contemporary art galleries and a founding member of CAGA.

Green On Red Gallery Events:

Reimagining speculative histories and Irish diaspora narratives with for Dublin Gallery Weekend 2026.

Based in Sample Studios Cork, Kevin Mooney studied painting at Crawford College of Art and Design before completing his MFA at NCAD. Informed by mythology, history, and cultural migration, Mooney’s work proposes a speculative art history of the Irish diaspora-weaving together folklore, memory, and material exploration across canvas and jute.

Kevin’s practice will be featured alongside Cecilia Bullo in ‘Silt & Sorcery’, a two-person exhibition at Hillsboro Fine Art as part of this year’s Dublin Gallery Weekend. The show braids together Celtic and Mediterranean lineages to explore rituals of transformation, protection, and ecological entanglement.

Visit during Dublin Gallery Weekend, 5–8 Nov 2026, to experience this show and explore more incredible art across the city.
