Great news for all the 'Gangsters' whose efforts getting appreciated abroad.

Amazing news that Cardboard Gangsters just won the 'Outstanding Film Achievement' award at the Newport Beach Film Festival! There were 350 films in this festival from 54 countries around the world including great Irish films like A Date for Mad Mary, Secret Scripture and Tomato Red. Fresh off winning Manchester and now we win this, unbelievable. We had a small budget, we had a 15 day shoot, we had non actors but for some reason it seems to be making a big impact with foreign audiences. Hopefully Irish audiences take to it when we release in cinemas in a few weeks. Trailer coming next week. And in other news we now have offers on the table for worldwide distribution!
