Starting Tuesday 4th April, hand building (non-wheel thrown pottery) classes at my house in Ballyglass, Mayo. This is a drop-in class not a set course and I can help you make, glaze and fire whatever you fancy, cups, vases, sculpture, ocarinas.. I've been working on new fermentation jars recently. This one's 10inches or so high. The lid sits inside a gutter to be filled with water when in use like Korean onggi pots. It works like a brewing syphon letting gases bubble out but preventing air getting in.
