The first Wednesday in September is usually our first night back to work, but tonight we're making an exception because our MD Carmel is playing with The Céadaoin Collective on the final night of their inaugural Irish tour at The Cat & Cage Folk Club at 8pm.

Our first rehearsal of the new season will kick off next Wednesday 9th September instead, while our auditions for new members take place this Saturday 5th! We can't wait to see everyone and kickstart another magical year! ✨

In the meantime we'll be at The Cat & Cage soaking up some brand new music from The Céadaoin Collective, with support from our good friend Danny Forde. See you there!

We were so incredibly honoured to sing at the 50th anniversary memorial service for the Miami Showband last year at Parnell Square and even more so to perform some of the bands own songs, including this iconic number by Fran O'Toole, "Love Is" - a song with a message that stands the test of time!

While we love to celebrate the joyful moments in life, it is such a privilege to be able to offer comfort in difficult times and to share the healing power of music with others.

We are thinking today of our fellow musicians - those young lives cut short, and the family & friends who remember them each and every day, in the small, quiet moments of life.

It's that time of year again! We have limited availability for new members, so if you want to join a hardworking but fun-loving group that loves to SING, then get in touch to find out more about our audition process! ✨

What we're looking for:

⭐ Confident singers who can hold down a harmony line. Don't worry if you don't consider yourself to be a soloist - not all voices have to be big.

⭐ Like-minded musicians who love Soul, Funk, Jazz, Blues, R&B, Motown, and of course, Gospel.

⭐ Performers who are comfortable with basic movement and who feel at home on stage or in front of a microphone.

⭐ Soprano, Mezzo, Contralto or Tenor voices.

Rehearsals take place Wednesday evenings in Dublin 6.

✨ It's that time of year again! ✨

While we're prepping for our summer concert and wedding season, we're also getting ready for the year ahead, and that means: AUDITIONS!

We have an exciting lineup of projects for 2026/2027 (with more to be added) including trips abroad, recording projects, social nights and more.

Rejoice is a small vocal ensemble with a big sound, performing SAT (soprano/alto/tenor) arrangements in close harmony.

While sight-reading abilities are a bonus, consideration will be given to non-readers with demonstrable experience who can learn quickly by ear. Please note that candidates must be comfortable learning in a fast-paced environment and should be confident holding a harmony line.

Rejoice Gospel Choir is a semi-professional choir with a busy calendar including weddings, corporate events, TV performances, recording sessions and concerts. Rehearsals take place Wednesdays, 7:30-9pm, in Ranelagh, Dublin 6.

We welcome singers of all faiths and no faith, all genders and sexual orientation - everyone is welcome! 🌈
