One of our favourite events of the year! ✨

Thank you to Methodist Centenary Church for inviting us to perform at the annual Songs of Praise service yesterday in Wesley House.

This is always such a beautiful event and the perfect opportunity for our new members to perform with the choir for the first time! 🎶

Wednesday Wedding Club | Ireland + NI Wedding Planner and Nikki Henderson did an incredible job dressing the rooms - everything looked absolutely stunning!

We love when our musical tastes align with our clients! ✨

Lynn & Oisín wanted an upbeat party vibe for both their ceremony & reception, with some special requests thrown in.

We were joined on vocals for the bride's entrance by her dear friend Aine Gallagher which added a truly personal touch to the celebration. 💛

Lynn & Oisín made a playlist to give us a feel for the vibe they wanted, and we used that to put together our setlist, incorporating songs from their list and complimenting them with choices from our own repertoire!

This wedding was a joy to sing from start to finish! ✨

She then joined us at the reception to serenade her new husband whose heart was indeed ringing in the key that their souls were singing... 💛

First rehearsal of the new term was so much fun.

We are so thrilled to welcome our new singers to the fold, and to be reunited with some old friends who were taking a well deserved break.

The first Wednesday in September is usually our first night back to work, but tonight we're making an exception because our MD Carmel is playing with The Céadaoin Collective on the final night of their inaugural Irish tour at The Cat & Cage Folk Club at 8pm.

Our first rehearsal of the new season will kick off next Wednesday 9th September instead, while our auditions for new members take place this Saturday 5th! We can't wait to see everyone and kickstart another magical year! ✨

In the meantime we'll be at The Cat & Cage soaking up some brand new music from The Céadaoin Collective, with support from our good friend Danny Forde. See you there!

There are so many things that unite us as a choir, but the joy that we feel when we sing together is what makes it all worth it!

We sing through the bad days, we sing through the tears, we sing through the worry and doubt, and we leave it all behind. 💛

We were so incredibly honoured to sing at the 50th anniversary memorial service for the Miami Showband last year at Parnell Square and even more so to perform some of the bands own songs, including this iconic number by Fran O'Toole, "Love Is" - a song with a message that stands the test of time!

While we love to celebrate the joyful moments in life, it is such a privilege to be able to offer comfort in difficult times and to share the healing power of music with others.

We are thinking today of our fellow musicians - those young lives cut short, and the family & friends who remember them each and every day, in the small, quiet moments of life.
