Over the years, Iā€™ve tried different techniques, the classic ones, the most popular ones, but so far, Iā€™ve found the best results by combining many different factors, especially adapting them to my own hand speed and grip.
The result: solid healed tattoos, almost no scabbing, and minimal trauma to the skin.

I wish I had known this technique before. For years, I tried copying other artistsā€™ techniques, but now I understand that there isnā€™t one specific technique that works best. Itā€™s actually a combination of many things.
Essentially, it depends on your machine, voltage, stroke, hand speed, how firmly you grip the machine, needle depth, and angle. Basically, itā€™s something very personal.
In the end, you start to feel it. You get to the point where you can actually feel whether youā€™re packing properly or not with each pass.
So donā€™t try to copy another artistā€™s technique. You have to practice a lot, experiment, and most importantly, study and understand what youā€™re practicing.

FULL BACK PIECE
This is one of my biggest and hardest projects so far.
It all started like it usually does. One day, Mario (the eternal secret tattoo artist apprentice šŸ˜…) and I were talking, and I said, ā€œI want to do a huge badass Hannya mask.ā€ Mario one of my favourite people and one of my very first clients in Ireland replied, ā€œYeah, bro.ā€
We started this project at back in 2024, and so far weā€™ve spent more than 80 hours working on it. I still donā€™t consider it finished, but itā€™s getting better and better with every session. Of course, Mario decided to take a few holidays between sessions... šŸ˜‚
What I value the most isnā€™t just the tattoo itself. Itā€™s the opportunity to work with someone who truly trusts my work, my vision, and my artistic decisions. Someone who gives me the freedom to do my best without trying to control every detail.

Thanks to everyone who continues to trust my work!!
Surprisingly, after 10 years, I feel more connected to my art than ever before. Every day I wake up excited about whatā€™s next, motivated to keep learning and to see how far I can push myself.
Iā€™m just like any of you, living a normal life with its ups and downs, some of them incredibly devastating. But those moments remind me that life is about facing challenges and choosing who you want to become.
Keep working hard, stay curious, and never give up. The journey is worth it.
