Dancer from the Dance Festival, BBOYALEON: is a professional Bboy, Artist, Athlete from Dublin Ireland. He has been breaking since 2009, and has been competing around the world.
He’s known for his explosive moves and smooth transitions on the floor. He has already left a legacy for Ireland in the breaking scene, and made it to the biggest stages in the world for a top level competitor. In 2023, Leon competed in over 30 international events!
He is on Team Ireland Olympic and has been competing in places like Brazil, Spain and Portugal to gain points for the first Olympics. Being the first ever Irish Bboy to qualify in any of the qualifiers.
Recently he won Redbull Bc One national finals the last two years and he will be representing Ireland in the world finals in Toronto this year. international events like, South East Proyect in Murcia, United We Rise in Bulgaria Check the Style, World Finals Winner in Rome and BFD in Porto, Portugal, 3 time national Olympic Irish Champ and a finalist one one of the most prestigious events Uk Bboy Champs World Finals with his crew. While also qualifying this year Outbreak Europe and IBE which consists of hundreds of breakers only qualifying the top 32!
He represents Primal Instincts crew, based in London.
Leon also does commercials, Influencing, performances, collaborations, organises and hosts events and is a mentor to many young generation dancers in Ireland.
He has spent many years teaching and training himself also coming from a Ballet background as his Mother is a Ballet and Yoga Instructor. This experience helped him become a skilful teacher catering his techniques to all levels and types of people and his teaching is described as a unique approach whilst being technical and exciting. He recently was working along with Team Ireland Olympics to create a training program for students, reaching over 120,000 students and over 4,000 teachers!
Some recent companies he worked with Google, Nike, JD Sports, Adidas, Lifestyle Sports, Ireland Olympics and performing alongside Fatboy Slim, the Black Eyes Peas, Rudimental.

Ceginskaite invite you into a space where movement unfolds beyond technique, style or
genre. Their duet is an instinctive dialogue between two bodies coexisting, responding, and
redefining connection in real time.
With an evocative sound score by Brussel’s based composer Lionel Kasparian, the performance
becomes a meeting ground - an interplay of sound and motion, tension and release. A
visceral exploration of presence and the silent negotiations between moving bodies.

“As an older dancer who has worked in company environments for the majority of my career, I have been able to look back and see how I allowed my artistic fantasy to take me away from my body's actual capacities, especially as it relates to the expectations of my employment. In recent years, I have tried to make peace with the idea of a dancer being an athlete. It is contrary to my own personal understanding of what it is to be an artist. I am attempting a mix of sustainable and helpful practices that condition my body to serve the work I am making myself or am asked to be part of, without losing the expression inherent in contemporary dance-making. This workshop is a brief exploration of care and action, consequent thought and movement, preparation and freedom". Christopher Roman
