And so it’s my birthday 🎉

Not that I still have a great desire to celebrate after a certain age… 😄

But days like this do make me think about the passing of time. And I deeply appreciate how lucky I am to be healthy, to have my loved ones near and far, and so many people who take even one minute of their day to say happy birthday.

At the end of it all, this is what I appreciate most about social media in its very essence: the way it makes people feel closer and more connected.

I’ve started slowing down a bit on social media too — not because I don’t care or don’t want to share. I think I’m just following my instinct.

I’m in a research period. Looking at new organic materials, how they can be used, what I can make with them… And honestly, I love this part of the process: spending time touching, feeling, trying, retrying, thinking.

I just can’t do all that with a camera on my face.

So if you’re wondering how I’m doing, this is what I’m into lately. Committed more than ever to my practice.

In exploration mode.

Enjoying the grounding connection that comes from working with nature every single day 🌿

If it’s not on camera, it doesn’t mean it’s not happening. It will just be shared when the right time comes.

Thank you for being here and for supporting my journey 💚

From the studio to the sanctuary 🎨🌿

I am so happy to announce that a curated selection of Ninfa Studio pieces is now available at

Set within the ancient grounds of Glendalough House, Anam Kara Wellness is a place dedicated to nature connection and holistic healing. When I first met Sophie and walked these grounds, I felt the incredible energy of this place and it felt natural to have Ninfa Studio become a part of the experience.

If you are attending a retreat or forest bathing experience at the estate, you can now bring that forest feeling back home with you 🌿

As I work on the rest of the pieces, this one is temporarily living on my kitchen wall 😊 so I get to enjoy its lush textures and grounding presence for a little longer 🌿

A small perk of being the artist… 🎨

There’s something powerful about introducing nature into office spaces 💻 bringing a sense of calm, creating moments of pause within the day and inviting connection and conversations ✨️

I’m so delighted to finally share a very special commission, close to my heart 🌿

These four moss artworks, inspired by a woodland style, were created as part of a commercial project in collaboration with the talented Celine from who has been redesigning the family rooms at a hospice and care centre in Co. Limerick.

Celine’s vision was to create calm, restorative spaces where families can rest and reconnect during difficult times. She followed the principles of biophilic design, introducing natural materials, gentle colour psychology and the sensory aspects of nature through these moss artworks.

Working from her concept, we developed a soft, natural palette. Using gentle tones and organic textures, I introduced soft creams, warm rust tones, and ferns to match the room’s décor, with small flowers adding a sense of spring and gentle joy to the space 🌼

Beyond the aesthetics, these pieces also help soften the acoustics of the rooms, bringing warmth and texture where traditional comforts like rugs or cushions aren’t always possible.

Thank you Celine for inviting me to be part of such a meaningful project. I can’t wait to see the completed spaces 🤍

Snapshots from a wonderful week at Collect 2026, Somerset House, London. This year’s fair felt particularly vibrant and it was an honor to be part of such a diverse showcase of international craft.

Special thanks to the Design & Crafts Council Ireland team for the opportunity to be part of your gallery again this year. A particular thank you to Julia Ravenscroft whose curation was impeccable and so supportive, and to TF Chan and the Crafts Council team for putting together a show so rich in material innovation.

A highlight of the week was the visit from the Irish Ambassador to the UK, who took the time to engage deeply with every maker in the Irish gallery, it was a privilege to share the story behind my practice with him.

I am deeply grateful for the connections made and the insights shared. I am especially delighted that my piece, Stillness in Motion, has found a new home with a passionate collector based in Kinsale, Co. Cork. It is a joy to know the work is coming back home to Ireland!

Lately I’ve been spending some quiet time with this piece, "Sense of Ground."

I’m so happy to be bringing it with me to this Friday for a special breakfast event in collaboration with

It’s crafted from the same preserved amaranth as my main work for the fair, "Stillness in Motion".

To me, this work is about exploring the ground as a living system, shaped by those slow, persistent rhythms of erosion and movement that happen right beneath our feet.

I’m really looking forward to discussing these natural rhythms and the restorative power of nature with .segantini and over breakfast.

You can find tickets at the link in bio.

I’m so excited to finally share something that has been growing behind the scenes 🎨

While Ninfa Studio remains the home for my business-related projects, I’ve felt the need for a small corner where I can be a bit more raw and experimental.

I’ve set up a personal space at

www.paoladilegge.com

where I’ll be keeping an artist journal and sharing thoughts on materials and the making process.

It’s a place to step into my world as an artist—a work in progress that I’d be so happy to have you visit.

Thank you for continuing to support my practice in so many ways. It really is what keeps me going ✨
