Half way through I realised that I already read this book... But I truly relished it this second time around 🤓 Kiran Desi is an exceptional writer, who captures the inherited trauma of displacement through emigration and colonialism to a tee... I’m very excited to have the time now to listen to this new podcast series "Homestories" by my good friend Manchán 🌿

His conversations with people who have come to this Island through the Direct Provision system, highlight Irish diversity through storytelling... These short interviews would be really good conversation starters in any ethical ed classroom, and I can't wait to listen in with my students...
