It’s baaaack! 🎉 Just one week until we reunite with the incredible Irish Chamber Orchestra Irish Chamber Orchestra in Limerick for the second iteration of the NYOICO project - could we be any more excited!! 🤩🤩

This year we are delighted to bring even more of our incredible young players together to join forces with the superstar players of the ICO. This project is all about sharing - knowledge, music and joy! 🤝 Our programme is jam packed - Bacewicz’s Concerto for String Orchestra (1st Mvmt.), Glazunov’s Élégie in G minor for French Horn and Strings, and topping it off with Mozart’s Symphony No. 40 ✨💪

Join us in Limerick and Dublin at one of our performances to round out this inspiring side-by-side experience 🎶

We can’t wait to reunite our NYOI musicians in Waterford this Summer! ☀️ The second of our annual courses this season will take place between the 17th - 26th July, culminating in three thrilling performances in Cork, Wexford and Dublin! 🎶

We are delighted to be joined by the internationally acclaimed conductor, Killian Farrell 🪄 NYOI players will also have the pleasure of performing with star mezzo-soprano Paula Murrihy - could we be any more excited! 🤩🤩🤩

… and here’s the rest! 🎉 Another great day of rehearsals today, with the full orchestra coming together for the first time this season! Another thank you to our sectional tutors for their hard work with our amazing players 🙏🏼 We are now joined by our conductor David Brophy ahead of our upcoming concert on the 3rd of January in The Helix, where we will also welcome cello soloist Natalie Clein 🎶🎻🎺
