I WAS SO WRONG ABOUT MAPHRA! 😳
Today I’m reacting to Maphra’s cover of “Kill or Be Killed” by Jutes — and after some of my previous comments about Maphra, I think it’s only fair to admit when I’m wrong!
I’ve previously given Maphra some stick for what I felt was over-production and even questioned whether AI was involved in some of her music. After hearing this one, though… I have to take that back.
This is absolutely fantastic.
The vocals, the production, the overall atmosphere and the way Maphra puts her own spin on the song really impressed me. In fact, this has quickly become one of my favourite Maphra covers.
So let’s see if Maphra has finally changed my mind!

Imminence – If Not Now, When? | FIRST TIME REACTION
Today I’m checking out Imminence – “If Not Now, When?” for the very first time!
I’ve actually never listened to Imminence before, but I’ve seen quite a few other YouTube reaction channels checking them out, so I figured it was finally time to see what all the hype was about.
I went into this one completely blind — no previous knowledge of the band, no idea what the song was going to sound like, and no expectations going in.
Overall, I thought “If Not Now, When?” was a really solid track. There were definitely some moments that stood out to me, but the thing that really caught my attention was the string section towards the end of the song. That added something really interesting and gave the track a great finish.
I’m definitely curious to hear more from Imminence after this, so there’s a good chance I’ll be checking out more of their music!
