She is an international dance educator, choreographer, and community builder known for her work in Dancehall, Afro-styles, and Twerk.
Background and Career
• Origins: Originally from Brazil, she began her dance journey in 2013 as a member of the Lenda Urbana group, where she competed and won various Dancehall competitions.
• Teaching Beginnings: She taught Dancehall in Brazil starting in 2014, She relocated to Ireland in 2017, where she established herself as a prominent figure in the local Dancehall and Afro-dance scene. Over her career, she has taught workshops and classes across multiple countries, including Brazil, Ireland, Türkiye, the UK, Switzerland, Spain, Austria and many other places! 💜
• Kwetu Movement: She is the founder of the Kwetu Movement, creating spaces centered around community-based street dances, cultural education, and body positivity.
• Online Platform: She leads the Luniverse Dance Academy, a private online dance and wellness community featuring live and recorded classes.
• Festival Appearances: She has performed and taught at events such as The Five Lamps Arts Festival in Dublin and many more!
