Next indoor dance in Rathmines is a fundraiser for the Dublin R**e Crisis Centre is a national organisation offering a wide range of services to any person affected by r**e, sexual assault, sexual harassment or childhood sexual abuse including a national 24 hour helpline 1 800 77 8888 and webchat support and other services.

I will do some meditation practices and give some guidance at the start to assist people in being with their body while dancing. This is a sober space and there will be teas and snacks . All are welcome and all monies will go to Dublin R**e Crisis Centre website is drcc.ie

The music covers ethnotronika folktronika afro house quirky french electronic psy trance tribal and sacred and heart felt music and more.

Easter Saturday as a liminal space from death to rebirth.
The invitation is what are you ready to let die and what is ready to be born and to explore this through your own body and its dance . Come as you are and dress in layers at a time for shedding and the emergence of a new energy arising organically by allowing your body to do its thing.

You dance the becoming and collectively the rising of the Eostre energy. We can embody the goddess of spring , fertility and new life and we will anchor it at the end of the dance and acknowledge what has shifted.

This will be moving from slow primal cathartic to light organic build to joyful tribal and ecstatic and the music will reflect this arc.

Music genres tribal , Chaotic , Cathartic , Intense abs release to ecstatic and heart opening and beyond .

Eostre( or Ostara) pagan goddess is associated with new beginnings the awakening of nature after winter . In modern paganism she is seen as a young maiden representing the joyous and energetic aspect of nature returning to life.

I will give people some guidance on how to be with your body when you dance .

Inviting people from Cork and surrounding areas to come to ecstatic dance in Cork Lotus Studio first timers are always welcome. No dance experience required just a willingness to try something new. I will guide people at the start through some meditation and basic movement practices to support you moving into allowing your body to move as it desires.

It's the time of Spring Equinox which is associated with themes of rebirth fertility and new beginnings and we will have a cacao ceremony and we can collectively and as an individual set an intention for what new beginnings we want to bring into our life.

Music styles will include ethnotronika folktronika tribal french pop Psy Trance Afro House middle Eastern heart opening and sacred and reflective and more.

You can also not dance if you wish and just be with the group. I will have some oracle cards and we will have an altar and if you wish you can place some objects that symbolise new beginnings for you at the altar.

First conscious dance of 2026 in Cork city central location.

A guided drum meditation to see what you want to cultivate in 2026. I will also guide participants to embody how 2025 was for you and how to encapsulate the possibilities of 2026 through a short movement piece which I will guide you with.

Prior to the dance I will send out some homework which is optional to reflect on 2025 challenges and gifts so you are ready to embrace 2026.

This is a unique opportunity to dance your purpose into being by planting a sacred seed through ritual and dance. We will have a cacao ceremony at the start to set our collective and individual intention for the group.

This Saturday 13th December in Rathmines, Dublin arrival from 7.15pm we aim to start at 7.30pm to 10.45pm.
Price range €35 to €25 depending on your financial circumstances. If you book by Wednesday the 10th of December the price range is €25 and €20.

Join us for the last conscious dance of 2025. After we have our Hawthorn Hot Punch Tea and connect with ourselves and our intention for the dance I will guide people in a warm up moving meditation which then transitions into your own dance .

The music will be gently restful and uplifting and will come to stillness as we move into Rebecca's Sound Bath.
Rebecca will use her voice alongside a blend of instruments she will weave a landscape of sound to support deep rest, integration and emotional release. This will encourage and support your nervous system to settle allowing any insights and intentions from your dance to sink in more fully.

This combination of embodied movement and sound healing creates a full arc - from activation to release.

Wear comfortable clothes and feel free to bring a mat and blankets for the sound bath . We have access to a kitchen for water and hot drinks.
