Situated on a quiet North City Centre street in a 19th Century old woolen mill, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the studio is surrounded by other artists and so there is a steady flow of creativity. It is an ideal setting to record a song, piece, EP or album. General Information

Such a glorious day capturing horns for record with the mighty at work… The Neumann gefell cmv563 was perfect on the bari (such a sexy instrument)… accenting all the chest thump, (& rolling off all the nasty barky stuff at the top), on the tenor- the stam 47 brought out the clarity and the tone, while the aea r84a on the trumpet let all the articulation through while being slow enough to disregard all the harshness.. the schoeps cmc 6 (omni) was used as a mono room mic to glue everything together! Great songs, great parts, and a lovely bunch of people!! ❤️

The Neumann m269- broadcast version of the U67… There’s something oh so special - something ‘je ne sais quoi’ about this gem of a transducer. In particular the off axis response is just so lovely… I’ve been using this in Omni recently close up on a vocalist… just round creamy magic… ❤️
