Aoife O’Connor is a professional violinist and singer from Dublin. After graduating with a BA in Music and English in Maynooth University, Aoife has gone on to sing with Lorica, Anúna, Vocare, and now Ascolta! She was previously a member of the Maynooth University Chamber Choir during her degree and toured to countries such as Spain, Malta, and Prague; where the choir won first place in the Festival of Songs, Olomouc. Aoife is a member of Inishlacken Strings, and performs at many different events with them including weddings, private concerts, and charity gigs. She is also the conductor of the Blanchardstown Fingal County Council Workplace Choir.
💙 This is Aoife's debut performance with Ascolta and we're so delighted to welcome her to the group!
🎶 The piece she is most looking forward to singing is Cantate Domino by Laura Sheils.

Séamus is a bass from Wexford who now calls Dublin his home. Prior to joining Ascolta, he has sung in Ireland and overseas with a range of choirs including New Dublin Voices, the Choir of Christ's College, Cambridge, and the RTÉ Philharmonic Choir. In his 'spare time' , he enjoys rehearsing and performing with the Teachers' Musical Society and is currently reprising the role of Caiaphas with Wexford Light Opera Society's upcoming performance of Jesus Christ Superstar.

Gráinne is an Alto from Dublin. She has sung with choirs in the UK and Ireland over the last two decades including New Dublin Voices, Coro, Edinburgh University Singers and the Choral Scholars of UCD.

Garrath Patterson has been singing in choirs since joining the Dublin Boy Singers at the tender age of 9. He joined Anúna in its early days in 1990 and sang, recorded and toured with the group for over twenty years. Highlights include tours of Japan, performing with musical heroes Clannad, and recording two PBS specials for broadcast across the USA. He also previously sang with Trinity College Singers, St. Patrick's Cathedral Choir and St. Patrick's Cathedral Chamber Choir. As well as Ascolta, he currently sings with and is Chairperson of the internationally award-winning Dublin-based Cuore Chamber Choir.

🎶The piece Garrath is most looking forward to singing this summer is Morning Star by Arvo Pärt.
💙 This is Garrath's fifth time singing with Ascolta.

Audrey is a soprano and the founder and Choral Director of Ascolta. Originally from Dublin, she now lives in Belfast, and can't wait to bring Ascolta up there for their first ever Belfast performance this summer! Before establishing Ascolta in 2017, she sang with the Irish Youth Choir, the Irish Youth Chamber Choir, the UCD Choral Scholars and the choir of Christ Church Cathedral. She's currently a member of the Belfast Philharmonic Choir
