Icon of Bharathnatyam, Indu Mitha has died in Dublin, aged 96, where she lived for the last few years of her extraordinary life with her daughter Yameema Mitha (who is co-director of ICMSI). Her legacy as a pioneer, artist and teacher lives on. She was dearly loved.

The Bharatanatyam practitioner and dance teacher died on Monday at the age of 97.
