MEET THE CREATORS

Austin Hughes is a third year Drama and Classics student in Trinity College Dublin. His previous work includes assistant director on Big Love (Samuel Beckett Theatre), Show Me Love (Smock Alley Main Space), Finding Normal (Smock Alley Black Box space) The 24 Hour Plays 2015 (The Abbey Theatre), and stage manager of The WIN (Smock Alley Boy's School), as well over 20 productions with DU Players. He is an alumni member of Dublin Youth Theatre and Gaiety School of Acting Youth Theatre Company. He can't think of anything funny to write at the end, even though a funny closing line was his idea.

MEET THE CREATORS!

Ferdy Emmet is a third year English and Drama student at Trinity College Dublin. He has directed three shows with DU Players and two short films, and works as a Senior Technician at the Edinburgh Fringe in the Grand Theatre at Surgeon’s Hall with theSpaceUk. He has worked as a lighting designer on “Fairytaleheart” (Samuel Beckett Theatre), “Tilda”, “Tale as Old as Time” and The Freshers Co-Op 2017 (DU Players). He’s also designed AV and sound on shows including “Strawberry Fields” and the installation Epoch. He’s a member of the Trinity improv group - Improv She Wrote and is the creative director of Trinity MUN. He really really hates lights.

MEET THE CREATORS!

Rían Hamill is currently studying English and Drama at Trinity College Dublin. His previous set designs include Chatroom (Samuel Beckett), The Show Must Go Wrong (DU Players), and White Cliffs as part of the Aurora Festival. Aside from design he has also frequently performed in plays such as Dogg’s Hamlet and Sunny Dayz (Samuel Beckett), and in musicals such as Fiddler on the Roof (O’Reilly Theatre) and Pippin as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He was also production manager on Far Away (Samuel Beckett) and the ISDA Award winning Castaway Stan. He still has no idea what he’s actually doing.

MEET THE CREATORS!

Marcus Bateson is a Third Year English and Drama student in Trinity College Dublin. Previous credits include acting in “The History Boys,” “6E” (DU Players Theatre) “Meeting Ghosts in College Park” (Trinity Museum Building), “By The Skin Of Our Teeth” (Smock Alley Theatre), “Bull” and “Big Love” (Samuel Beckett Theatre). He has stage managed “Please Crank the Silly Thing Around” and “Pool No Water” (Samuel Beckett Theatre) as well having written and directed “White Cliffs” as part of the Aurora Arts Festival. He has also worked extensively as a dramaturg, set designer and producer. He is still trying to make a play using only bicycles.

MEET THE CREATORS

Sarah O’Sullivan is studying English and Drama in Trinity College. Previous work includes stage manager for Meeting Ghosts in College Park (Trinity Museum Building), The Mysterious History of Things (The Viking Theatre), The Quiet Land (touring production), Dogg’s Hamlet (Samuel Beckett Theatre), Talk to Me Like The Rain (Bewley’s Café Theatre), producer for Eirwaves (Edinburgh Fringe Festival) as well as a number of productions in DU Players; venue technician at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival with TheSpaceUK, and most recently The Baltimore Waltz (Samuel Beckett Theatre) in a publicity role. She is excited to begin work on the Debut Devising Festival in the next few weeks. Previous writing credits include After as part of Players Fringe Festival which her Mum said she really enjoyed.

MEET THE CREATORS

Jade Silke Fetherston is a drama and film student in Trinity College Dublin. She’s starred in “By The Skin of Our Teeth” in Scene and Heard 2017, and is very excited to return to the festival. Her credits include “Camgirls,” Thyona in “Big Love” (Samuel Beckett Theatre) Elena in “The Bear,” “La Tour De Flash” and “The Great Brunswick” (DU Players). She is a part of Trinity College’s Improv group “Impov she wrote” and performed with them at the Edinburgh fringe 2017. She also has an interest in directing and has directed two shows with DU Players “Strawberry Fields” and “The Show Must Go Wrong”. She has worked in many areas in both theatre and film including, art directing, set, and costume design.
