💖Hi there! I see a lot of lovely new followers here so thank you so much for being here and I’ll tell you a little bit about me💖
🖼️I’ve always loved art, drawing & crafting, they are my absolute happy place whether I’m creating or wandering around a museum or gallery.
🌍I was born in London but moved near Paris with my French & Austrian/German parents as a baby. So I would describe myself as European rather than belonging to a specific nation or culture.
☘️I’ve lived in Ireland since 1989. I was a au-pair for 3 months but never left…here is definitely home.
❤️I have 2 neurodiverse children who have taught me a lot about adapting, being flexible, and best of all that being your unique self is magical (which really was not encouraged when I grew up but I am now fully embracing!).
🛍️I am absolutely rubbish at marketing, social media and selling but I love what I do so I keep going on the strength of my delusional self belief, because why not?
🤯I am 56 and riding the insanity that is the menopause roller coaster with wonder at all the surprises it still brings and generally lowering my expectations of myself (try it, it’s fantastic!).
🚶♀️➡️Having said that I finally started giving myself the care I deserve when I turned 50 and am possibly becoming addicted to my daily walks. They are my hour to myself, to enjoy an audio book & watch the seasons change around me.
🐱I am clearly a cat person but am very partial to a cute corgi. My dream is also to live in Wicklow and have a big garden with chickens and ducks.
🖌️I “accidentally fell” into painting plates when I found some porcelain pens in my craft cupboard and have loved it ever since!
☕️I also love coffee, travelling when I get to do it, a good charity shop, kind and thoughtful people, a nice pair of earrings, the sea, rivers and trees, and cosy clothes.
