Join our Youth Academy takes place each Saturday Afternoons from 12.30 - 3pm! This course is designed for young people aged 15-17 who are looking to take the next step in their actor training journey.

This acting class covers core performance skills in voice, movement, and improvisation. Participants work with classical and contemporary play texts through scenes and monologues, while developing technical abilities in sight reading and script breakdown.

Meet our Screen Acting Over 35s tutor, Kristian Phillips! Kristian is an actor and writer who leads numerous courses with us at The Lir Academy.

His significant experience includes TV credits on: THE ENGLISH on Amazon; FINDING JOY on RTE; PRESS on BBC; SHAKESPEARE AND HATHAWAY on BBC; NIGHTMARES on Channel 4; DOCTORS on BBC; and WIZARDS Vs ALIENS on CBBC.
