There’s something about Malahide Castle that feels frozen in time while still full of life. 💙

I wanted this piece to feel bold, alive and slightly dreamlike — ancient stone against an electric blue sky, softened by the wild greenery and everyday moments unfolding in front of it. The friends wandering through the scene were really important to me… little snapshots of people passing through history without even thinking about it.
This painting is all about contrast — old and new, stillness and movement, structure and chaos.

I used my signature black lines and strong colour to pull this beautiful historical castle into the present moment 💙

They didn’t have nearly as much detail as the larger paintings. Must revisit and do a larger version of it, it’s such a cool building 🤩

And what an honour to be in the company of all these fabulous creatives ⭐️⭐️⭐️

There was so much work behind the scenes to pull it out for the bag in time for the launch today and it was totally worth it 🥰

Thanks to Alison and all the guys for my beautiful recyclable Thought books. Thanks for the prints, for the mounts and the guys at .ie for the coasters and totes! Yay to collaborations!! 🙌🙌
