MEET THE CREATIVE TEAM
DIRECTOR: Charlene Gleeson
Charlene was born in Dublin, Ireland. After graduating from the Gaiety School of Acting in 2006 Charlene appeared in a number of stage productions including Ireland's National Theater, The Abbey Theatre, she played Honor Blake in 'The Pl***oy of the Western World' by Roddy Doyle. Charlene made the transition to television in 2007 she was cast in the leading role Jolene Little in the TV series 'Trouble and Paradise' for RTE Two.
Charlene produced her first short film '100 degrees' directed by Jason Barry and Written by Glen Barry in Los Angeles in 2012.The short film '100 degrees' opened the LA Irish short film festival in West Hollywood. In 2015 she worked to create a new play for the Dublin's Collaborations and Fringe Festival with writer Tracey Martin, they worked together for over a year to create the highly successful show 'Harder Faster More' produced by Red Bear productions.
Charlene Has Directed Numerous Showcases for the and Musicals for the Civic Tallaght. To date, Charlene recently produced, created and starred in the short film 'Cherry' that is now doing the festival circuit worldwide including the the 33rd Galway Film Fleadh, Irish London film Festival and the Chicago Film Festival.

Since participating in various Youth Theatre groups since the age of six, Sidonie developed a passion for the art and, at around 12, started alternating between acting onstage and assisting backstage for the productions, enjoying all elements of the process.
She has worked as Assistant Stage Manager, Deputy Stage Manager and other technical operator roles
Sidonie moved to Dublin in 2018 to attend the Gaiety School of Acting Two-Year Full Time Actor Training Programme. She returned to Suffolk for the Summer of 2020 and was commissioned by local artists and theatre supporters to create and produce a promenade performance which promoted young performers affected by the pandemic. She is delighted to be given the opportunity to continue her exploration for producing, by Naming Cows Theatre Company.
