The 15th edition of the Aerowaves Spring Forward Festival took place between 6-9 May in Guimarães (PT), hosted by Centro Cultural Vila Flor in collaboration with O Espaço do Tempo, and was part of the programme of the European Green Capital 2026 Guimarães.

👤 Led by: Silvia Gribaudi – Italian choreographer, performer and researcher

This is a process-based, practice-led lab for artists interested in experimenting with choreographic thinking, somatic presence, improvisation, and collective creation. The lab will culminate in a public work-in-progress sharing during the festival.

Participation is free of charge. For selected participants, we offer:

Free access to the events of the festival

Applications are open to professional dancers, performers, choreographers, and interdisciplinary artists.
The working language will be English.

📡Aerowaves Europe is seeking twenty emerging choreographers based in Europe.

You can now apply to become an Aerowaves artist with the opportunity to have your work presented at the Spring Forward festival from 14-17 April 2027 in Limerick (IE), and also by many of our Aerowaves partners around Europe.
