Tonight we got giggles a plenty as we roll out The Barrel Of Laughs Comedy Store. The hilarious Tomie James is this month's headline act so plenty of hilarity is guaranteed. Muastafa Saed returns to the venue that gave him a standing ovation when he last appeared,and we have the legend that is MC Micheal Kierans. Doors open 8.30pm

Jess has gigged in Cherry Comedy, Battle of the Axes, Lightening Comedy & Comedy Gold to mention a few. She recently made the final of the Woolshed Comedy Act of the Year 2019 where she was only 1 of 2 female finalists. Comedy is really something she would like to pursue full time when the time is right. For now, travelling around Dublin & Ireland making people laugh is her goal- possibly with her own comedy line up tour... ‘

‘After diving into the Irish comedy scene in February 2018, Kerry native Gillian Fitzgerald has brought her razor sharp wit and hilarious anecdotes to audiences across the country and beyond.
Gillian has performed on famous stages in Dublin, such as The Comedy Crunch, The International Comedy Club, Cherry Comedy and the Comedy Cellar.
Her festival credits include Electric Picnic, Vodafone Comedy Festival and Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Gillian's sets cover everything from being the forgotten child, to the tribulations of dating in the Tinder era and scare tactics used by a loving Irish mother. As a recent finalist in The Laughter Games competition, whatever she's talking about, Gillian has her audience captivated and in stitches, making her one of Ireland's most promising up and coming comedians’

‘Aideen McQueen is one of Ireland’s top female stand ups, having reached the final of the “funny Funny” comedy competition after just her third gig she started to gig all over Ireland in clubs such as the International and The Laughter Lounge.

She reached the semi finals of the national new act competition ‘So You Think You’re Funny’ held at the Edinburgh Festival’

Meet our second act of Novembers line-up John O Keeffe:

‘John has rapidly established himself as one of the best new acts in the Irish Comedy Scene. He co-founded, and is resident mc, at a successful comedy night in one of Dublin's most iconic pubs.
Among his achievements, he recently won the lucrative "Best New Act" Award at the 2019 Bray Comedy Festival and has been featured on FM104. Praised for his likability, comedy writing and stage presence, he has draw comparisons to Dylan Moran and Bill Burr. Having already performed on shows with top comedians such as David O' Doherty, Karl Spain and Scott Capurro, he regularly gigs at the best venues across Ireland and recently brought a show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival’

Lets meet our acts for Novembers edition of Barrel of Laughs. First up we have Ailish McCarty.

'Ailish McCarty is a new arrival on the scene but comes from over 11 years of performance background. Having spent years testing peoples' patience with singing and dancing (and in general), she's turned to tickling peoples' funny bones with her own special blend of observational comedy.

She has grown into a zany dissector of the human condition. Very few topics are off limits in her material, which is something her parents are still struggling with to this day.

Ailish has performed at electric picnic, YukYuks (Vancouver), Vodafone comedy festival (Iveagh gardens) and is bringing the show WingWoman to the Glasgow International Comedy Festival next year'
