🎶 KATHERINE PRIDDY comes to Droichead Arts Centre this September ably supported by special guest Darragh O'Dea.
Droichead Arts Centre and Night Moves are delighted to welcome acclaimed singer-songwriter Katherine Priddy for a very special intimate concert in our café/bar on Sunday 20 September at 8pm.
September might feel a long way off, but this promises to be a beautiful night of live music in a very limited-capacity setting, so early booking is strongly recommended.
Priddy has firmly established herself as one of the most exciting voices on the contemporary British music scene, with acclaimed albums including 'The Eternal Rocks Beneath' and 'The Pendulum Swing'.
Her new album, 'These Frightening Machines', released via Cooking Vinyl, marks another bold step forward, exploring resilience, connection, and what it means to keep going when things fall apart.
Known for her haunting vocals and distinctive finger-picking guitar style, Priddy has sold out headline tours, supported world-class artists, collaborated with Poet Laureate Simon Armitage, and performed on 'Later… with Jools Holland'.
Irish songwriter Darragh O’Dea returns with his second album, I am Drunk and feel The Earth is Worth Living, released 7 August 2026.
Created with Canadian musician and producer Rob Butterfield, the album was recorded between Galiano Island, BC and Galway, with contributions from Dan Gaucher, Anthony Thistlethwaite, Jack Garton, Kiki Deirdre, Dave Clancy and Nan Vernon.
Drawing on the spirit of Leonard Cohen, John Cale and Wilco, it’s a loose, expressive record full of curious moments of bliss.
Join us this September for an unforgettable evening with two truly remarkable artist in the intimate surroundings of Droichead’s café/bar.
