The Draw will take place for the Celtic v Rangers tickets this evening in the Sean ti around half 6 ( Half time in the celtic game today).
Unfortunately we didn't have a chance to get it done last weekend

A huge congratulations to Moville Celtic on winning the Jim & James Cup Final after a closely fought and entertaining match against Redcastle United.

Moville ran out 3 - 1 Winners on the Day.

Both teams gave everything on the pitch and showcased the great talent and sporting spirit that makes this competition so special.

👏 A sincere thank you to our match officials George, Terence and John Joe for their excellent work officiating the game.

🏟️ A big thank you to Greencastle Football Club for the use of their fantastic facilities and for helping to host the final.

🎉 Thanks also to The Seán Tí for hosting the post-match celebrations and providing a great venue for everyone to come together after the game.

Finally, thank you to all the players, supporters, volunteers and organisers who helped make this year's James & Jim Cup such a success. The rivalry on the pitch was matched by friendship and community spirit off it.

Well done to everyone involved, and once again congratulations to Moville Celtic, 2026 James & Jim Cup Champions! 🏆💙⚽

What a weekend it was. From start to finish, the support has been absolutely incredible.

You know you’re doing something right when you set out 140 seats for the Bingo… and still need more! 😂

There are far too many people to thank individually on here, but we’ll be thanking everyone as and when we see you.

A massive thank you to everyone who volunteered — at the barriers, at the events, helping with clean-up, setting up, taking down, and everything in between. As Mary said, it takes a village, and by God, what a village we have. ❤️

As we finish off the final bits of the 2026 Festival, including the mountain of paperwork and bill paying, we’ve decided to call the Greencastle Regatta & Festival AGM for Friday, 18th September 2026.

The aim is to put a full committee in place earlier than normal so we can get planning for 2027 and beyond.

And speaking of 2027…

It’s not very often we actually get the Regatta on the traditional Regatta Day — the 15th August — so we’re looking forward to another big one and are confident we’ll get the usual great support from the community.

Patrick McClenaghan Memorial Line Throwing Competition

Congratulations to Shaun McKinney, winner of the first Patrick McClenaghan Memorial Line Throwing Competition.

It was a closely fought competition, with Adrian McClenaghan leading the scoreboard for most of the event before being pipped at the post by Shaun in the final stages.

Congratulations also to our joint junior winners, Bobby Reynolds and Caiden Harkin.

A huge well done to everyone who took part and helped make the first competition such a success.

Net Mending & Rope Splicing

A fantastic afternoon of traditional skills at the Greencastle Regatta & Festival on Friday .

Congratulations to the joint winners of the Johnny Cavanagh Memorial Cup - John Bonner and Conor McLaughlin.
