Set in magical Dingle – on the most westerly peninsula of Europe, the hugely successful Animation Dingle takes place annually in March. 700 animators descend on Dingle to mingle and learn from some of the makers of the world’s best animators, who in turn sco

pe out the incredible talent this country produces. Life- long lessons and valuable connections get forged as students immerse themselves in a weekend of jam packed activities in a thought provoking, inspiring and fun environment. Animation Dingle is brought to us by the renowned award winning animation company JAM Media and Maurice Galway, who have shone a light on the incredible student creativity that this small island produces while attracting contributors from all over the world since the festival started in 2013.

Do you have an animated film that you want to share with the world? Submissions for open for both Student and Professional Animated Films from Ireland and beyond.

🗓️ Avail of our Earlybird submission discount until September 2nd! Submissions close December 9th, 2026.

🏆Animation Di**le is an Academy Awards Qualifying Festival. The winner of Best Irish Professional is eligible for consideration in the Academy Awards without a standard theatrical run. Animation Di**le is also a Student Academy Awards qualifying festival.
